Malevolence seemed to be taking the move quite stressfully, So Rachelle thought it may be best to take her mind off the new environment with a simple dressage test. Maybe throwing some of the classical dressage in there that she knew from her previous owner years ago. Rachelle had the arena to herself for the moment, and was hoping someone else would wander in. But she figured everyone else was too busy to ride for the moment so she continued to strech out Ellies front legs and fasten the magenta splint boots on. This was a difficult task because of those darn feathers! But with success she then mounted up and began walking on the wall. After warming up the mare she thought...hmm lets see if she can do that piaffe. So Rachelle gently collected her in, and almost instantlly she was prancing in place. "So your not as stressed out as you seem, are ya boo?" she said as she leaned down her short, stocky neck. She continued on, turning the radio on. "Only you can love me this way" by Keith Urban was on. She loved this song...and so did her mare. Ellie wasn't stressed at all as the ride went on. Rachelle decided to ask fro a capriole and then cool down. She moved gracefully to the center of the arena, now doing the piaffe she gave the cue and up she went! The back legs flew out from underneath her, and she felt like she was floating. And then the clumsly intense landing. She managed to stay on. Rachelle leaned down and hugged her mare whispering "Ich liebe dich" while grabing her mane. After that she returned to the wall for her cool down.

Molly watched Rachelle ride. She felt a little peculiar, like she was spying on her, but figured she was right on the instructor's stand, so if Rachelle wanted to see her, she could. The mare was a little frisky, but performing well- she clearly had been trained by a master. The performance Rachelle and Malevolence gave was lovely, although it needed a slight bit of fine-tuning. The mare and the woman didn't yet seem perfectly in harmony- something that rarely happened with mares-but the new environment was probably to blame for that. As Rachelle cooled down, Molly entered the ring. "Very impressive, Miss Rachelle," she called. "You'll be taking her to Grand Prix before you know it."

Rachelle jumped, as did her horse, as she saw Molly enter the arena. She wasn't afraid of her or anything ; she was just paying so much attention to her ride that she didn't even realize she was standing there in plain sight. "Why Thank You Molly. I haven't had much dressage training with her so she isn't the greatest yet. I may look into a dressage trainer for her to work with." she said shyly, as her horse bent down to scratch her head on her knee.

"Well, considering you're one of my dressage trainers, perhaps this will be your first project?" Molly winked at Rachelle. The fact that she got lost in her own world so easily amused the barn owner.

It took Rachelle a few seconds to comprehend what Molly had just said. Then she said "Wow...blond moment. Hmm you have a very good point there" she chuckled akwardly after.

Molly just smiled. "Well, I'll see you later Rachelle. Good luck with Malevolence." She turned and left the dressage arena.
